Having worked in the independent schools sector for over 15 years, my understanding of the sector is substantial. 

In the last 7 years, as the Head of an IAPS co-educational Prep school, I grew our community from just 54 pupils to over 185 (Reception to Year 6) and from 9 to 100 (Nursery) with a two year waiting list. 

I have a strong success record in expanding school's early years provision as a road to growth and improvement, and have designed and established a number of new settings from scratch. Every setting that I have established has been consistently rated as 'Outstanding' by Ofsted, and 'Excellent' by ISI. 

As a primary school governor, I also have a strong working knowledge of the state sector, and I work extensively with private early years settings. 

I use my exceptional knowledge of the early years sector, and of the ever-changing schools market to explore your setting and identify areas for improvement and development. I have helped a considerable number of schools in changing their hours, structure of operation, staffing systems, moving to all-year-round provision, growing pupil numbers and other such challenges. 

I have an established reputation in the South West for being the 'go-to' authority on all things early years. My expertise in this area is matched with my sound business acumen and experience as a Prep School Head, giving me a unique insight into school development - from the bottom up. I contribute actively to ongoing changes in the early years sector and pride myself on my unparalleled level of knowledge and experience in the sector.
